The sun was shining on Jägersro and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Flying Colors sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Helen Lovejoy was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Welcome Laponia clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Welcome Laponia followed by Minou and Helen Lovejoy. Lane two Flying Colors followed by Danish Svensson and Fantasy. Skipping Wish galloped for 30 m. La Comtesse D'aucy galloped for 10 m.



Welcome Laponia looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Minou didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
