One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Modest Pie took the lead after a very quick start. driver couldn't keep Glowing Princess to trotting so they were disqualified. When the startcar left the field Sign Up started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and L'Étoile Mystérieuse sprinted to the front.




L'Étoile Mystérieuse was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Modest Pie looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Modest Pie kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Modest Pie kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Bold Garden sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
