One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Kap Verde found a gap and took the lead. Fleksnes followed before Light Asteroid.

Grasping Diary saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Fabel started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Daiquiri took the lead after 1000m. Don´t Like Rain didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Grasping Diary looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Fleksnes started to gallop after 1500m and Ulf Ohlsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Fabel galoped for 10 m. Grasping Diary sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Kap Verde sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
