Only a humble breeze blew over Rättvik this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Promising Light found a gap and took the lead. Diamond Stone followed before Loving Whirlwind.




This is the positions after 500m. Loving Whirlwind, Listening Sword, Diamond Stone, Promising Light, Lying Stardust, Blue Fountain, Barber Shop, Charlotte Palema.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Lying Stardust looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Listening Sword started to gallop after 1500m and Daniel Olsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Lying Stardust didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Loving Whirlwind was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



Promising Light suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Diamond Stone made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Promising Light.
