One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dreaming Pirate could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Alexander Heisholt wanted a little to much in the start and Enormous Joy galoped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Moonlight Moon, Salvation, Desolate Cloud, Dreaming Pirate, Red Dawn, Noix De Muscade, Celtic Milwr, Lisa Dublin.

Desolate Cloud sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Desolate Cloud followed by Salvation and Moonlight Moon. Lane two Dreaming Pirate followed by Red Dawn and Celtic Milwr.

With only a little left of the race Moonlight Moon galoped for 20 m. Desolate Cloud looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Desolate Cloud. Dreaming Pirate came in second. Salvation became third.
