One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Brave Muscle took the lead after a very quick start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Oyonnax showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




A Flat Orange looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Oyonnax couldn't come out from behind the leader, Brave Muscle.




Brave Muscle was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and A Flat Orange gallopped for 40 m.




Brave Muscle kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Brave Muscle sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Brave Muscle, 2 A Flat Orange, 3 Oyonnax.
