The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Oviken this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Sunflower could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Per Linderoth wanted a little to much in the start and Opposing Peach galoped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Opposing Peach sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Opposing Peach followed by Beautiful Sunflower and Radiating Top. Lane two Closed View followed by Breaking Maid and Great Weight.



Opposing Peach looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
