The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tax Dodge found a gap and took the lead. Érdemel followed before Bene Progetto. When the startcar left the field Copperbeec started to galop and lost 50 m.




Tax Dodge was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Bene Progetto started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Érdemel clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Tax Dodge suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Érdemel today. It continued in the lead.




Mérges Szél sat safely in the lead after 2000m. March Parader galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Copperbeec was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. March Parader was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Mérges Szél sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Running Piece galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




No-one could catch Mérges Szél today who won before Érdemel and Vision Of Empire.
