One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Speedy Prince could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Awesome Fast saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Speedy Prince took the lead after 1000m. Stars And Stripes didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Speedy Prince followed by Big Sound and Shining Wind. Lane two Stars And Stripes followed by Fighting Bear and Frozen Fist.

Speedy Prince were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Fighting Bear sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
