Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kausala track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mr Speed could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Pekka Korpi wanted a little to much in the start and Tripping Sunray galoped for 20 m.




Dead Play saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Baby Be Mine took the lead after 1000m. Roy didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Roy looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Opposing Feeling galoped for 20 m. Roy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

High Explosive showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Roy didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
