It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hillman C. was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Going Crown started to galop and lost 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Arcade, Hillman C., Machoke, Ababyfrogonalog, De Les Ciel, Going Crown, Hippo Girl, Nevada Necktie.




Hillman C. took the lead after 1000m. Ababyfrogonalog didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Going Crown looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Machoke suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Nevada Necktie galop. Nevada Necktie lost 50 m.




Machoke kept the speed the whole finish and won before De Les Ciel and Hillman C..
