The weather had been good all week and Eskilstuna was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Diamond Future tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Pretty Grove that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Sauerkraut, Flying Miracle, Whispering Lovebreaker, Lord Cormac, Nurse Dynamite, Diamond Future, Pretty Grove, Singing Darkness.

The leader got disturbed by something and Nurse Dynamite took the lead rather easily. Pretty Grove was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Whispering Lovebreaker looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Whispering Lovebreaker sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Singing Darkness won the race after a spectacular finish.
