The sun was shining on Arvika today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mississippi Riot took the lead after a very quick start. Eirik Høitomt wanted a little to much in the start and Last Melody galoped for 40 m. Anders Elehn wanted a little to much in the start and Mississippi Riot galoped for 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Last Melody sprinted to the front. Cap Ferret galloped way to long and was disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Sol Verde took the lead rather easily.




Sol Verde was still in the lead after 1500m.




Sol Verde didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.




Drogheda took the lead after a speedrush. Sol Verde was disturbed and gallopped for 40 m.



Drogheda kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Drogheda today who won before Mississippi Riot and Old Work.
