One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Fawltys Bodydouble. Steel Body ended up behind the leader. Great Barrier Magician got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Slow Stereo, Kid On High Street, Great Barrier Magician, Fawltys Bodydouble, Sneaking Lady, Steel Body, Front Rock, Triton's Night.




Steel Body looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Fawltys Bodydouble couldn't come out from behind the leader, Slow Stereo.




Fawltys Bodydouble accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Fawltys Bodydouble kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Fawltys Bodydouble kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Fawltys Bodydouble didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
