Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mariehamn track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stepping Lemonade could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Heavenly Girl suddenly started to galop. Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get Heavenly Girl to tror again and succeded after 50 m. Life On Mars galloped way to long and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Cute Closet sprinted to the front.




Smiling Gold sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Climbing Rocket accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Heavenly Girl started to gallop after 1500m and Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Climbing Rocket looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Sgt Pepper won. Stepping Lemonade came in second. Climbing Rocket caught third place.
