It had been raining for several days at Bjerke but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Fish Hoek Pinotage was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

True Invader sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one True Invader followed by Holy Sunshine and Fish Hoek Pinotage. Lane two Saint Michel followed by Focused Rock and The X-man. driver couldn't keep High Voltage to trotting so they were disqualified.

With only a little left of the race Holy Sunshine galoped for 10 m. With only a little left of the race Saint Michel galoped for 20 m. True Invader looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Holy Sunshine galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

No-one could catch True Invader today who won before Focused Rock and Fish Hoek Pinotage.
