The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kalmar this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Az Fiorano took the lead after a very quick start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Stifling Trap sprinted to the front. Hoof Master was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Super Lightning took the lead after 1000m. Bard didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Super Lightning was still in the lead after 1500m. Funky Bass showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Super Lightning were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Bard galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.

Az Fiorano won. Super Lightning came in second. Nippon caught third place.
