Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Östersund track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Jumping Daffodil took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Tofastforyou started to galop and lost 10 m.




Tofastforyou saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




New York Yankee accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Smiling Tropic galoped for 10 m. New York Yankee sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Jumping Daffodil never caught up with New York Yankee who won. Dexter The Killer came third.
