One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Stopping Pirate tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Secret Transit that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Stopping Pirate, Sharp Knife, Maestro, Munga Blanka, Running Cruiser, Happy Sword, Secret Transit, Kick´n Run.

Stopping Pirate was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Secret Transit galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Stopping Pirate was still in the lead after 1500m.

Kick´n Run suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Secret Transit galop. Secret Transit lost 10 m.

Final standings. 1 Running Cruiser, 2 Kick´n Run, 3 Stopping Pirate.
