Start List
The sun was shining on Kalmar and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Leila Lightspeed could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Erik Adielsson wanted a little to much in the start and Xtra Power User galoped for 30 m. This is the positions after 500m. Ont Près Soie, Blazer, Mountain Climber, Super Starshine, Feelin Alright, Leila Lightspeed, Neon Red Planet, Requiescat In Pace. Mountain Climber looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Blazer couldn't come out from behind the leader, Ont Près Soie. Mountain Climber looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Neon Red Planet showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Breaking It Up started to gallop after 1500m and Björn Goop had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Neon Red Planet was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Super Starshine was first on the homestretch followed by Mountain Climber and Feelin Alright. Peter Untersteiner tried a little too much on the homestretch and Super Starshine started to galopp and lost 40 m. Blazer sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
