One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hottest Subject could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Like Flames was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Hermes Steel quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Ilona Bakaou looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Hottest Subject couldn't come out from behind the leader, Hermes Steel.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hermes Steel followed by Hottest Subject and Pharao. Lane two Street Corner Girl followed by Ilona Bakaou and Wants To Rock.




Hermes Steel kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Rød Het Gi gallopped 10 m after 2000m.



Hermes Steel sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
