One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





So What was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Running Wall was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Nobu saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Monroe took the lead rather easily.




Monroe was still in the lead after 1500m.



Monroe kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Star Gate Steve won the race after a spectacular finish.
