The sun was shining on Rovaniemi today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

The Fast Turnover tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Perfect Fliegend that came steaming ahead. The Fast Turnover suddenly started to galop. Markku Nieminen had to struggle to get The Fast Turnover to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

Soulpower saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Perfect Fliegend was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Castor looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Khashoggi´s Ship started to gallop after 1500m and Heikki Hietanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

With only a little left of the race Curly Cassandra galoped for 40 m. The Fast Turnover suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Pekka Korpi tried a little too much on the homestretch and Funny Grey Rat started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Castor made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Soulpower.
