Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rovaniemi track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Life On Mars could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Lutike was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Lutike sprinted to the front.




Schön Geschichte took the lead after 1000m. Lutike didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




The Cannibal saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



The Cannibal sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Life On Mars made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before The Cannibal.
