One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elegant Red was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Colorado Appaloosa started to galop and lost 40 m.




Cool Crown saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Boardwalk took the lead rather easily.




Boardwalk was still in the lead after 1500m.




Boardwalk sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Elegant Red speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Boardwalk made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Pose Puerta.
