One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Thunder Victory could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Mobster Mash was in fine shape and held the lead.




Thunder Victory looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Bene Progetto couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sergeant Bandwith.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Thunder Victory followed by Single Bet and Mobster Mash. Lane two Bene Progetto followed by Sergeant Bandwith and Cariac.



Starshine Moonlight was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Thunder Victory looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Thunder Victory galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Single Bet kept the speed the whole finish and won before Bene Progetto and Sergeant Bandwith.
