Only a humble breeze blew over Momarken this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cheval Noir tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Metallic Heart that came steaming ahead. Cheval Noir was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Skipping Queen who started to galop and lost 40 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Skipping Queen suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Metallic Heart today. It continued in the lead.




Metallic Heart was still in the lead after 2000m.



Metallic Heart looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Metallic Heart. Close Cube came in second. The Lexicon became third.
