The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kannus this day.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sigue Sigue Sputnik. Lutike ended up behind the leader. Franco Solo got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Franco Solo quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Holy Sunshine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Lutike couldn't come out from behind the leader, Franco Solo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Franco Solo followed by Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Trinitatis. Lane two Holy Sunshine followed by Lutike and Solid Sound.



Franco Solo were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Lutike sprinted over the finishline before Franco Solo and Holy Sunshine.
