One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Screaming Legend tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Run Ray that came steaming ahead. This is the positions after 500m. Screaming Legend, Shining Sunray, Boniface, Relaxing Body, Run Ray, Steel Satellite, Monopoly Broder, Peu Miracle. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Boniface looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Peu Miracle was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Boniface kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Final standings. 1 Steel Satellite, 2 Run Ray, 3 Boniface. Results
