The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Intelligent Fist could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Intelligent Fist suddenly started to galop. Stefan Melander had to struggle to get Intelligent Fist to tror again and succeded after 50 m. Gentleman´s Red Mantle galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Use Your Illusion saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Gentleman´s Red Mantle was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Sleepy Jewel took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sleepy Jewel followed by Intelligent Fist and Sleeping Fall. Lane two Front Boulder followed by Sliding Thrasher and Use Your Illusion. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Sleeping Fall gallopped for 50 m. Sliding Thrasher started to gallop after 1500m and Erik Adielsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Sleepy Jewel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Sleepy Jewel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Intelligent Fist sprinted over the finishline before Front Boulder and Sliding Thrasher.
