Whispering Queen tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Whistler that came steaming ahead. Glory Gallant was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Lonely Starshine sprinted to the front.

Travelling Sprackler took the lead after 1000m. Stars And Stripes didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Travelling Sprackler followed by Stars And Stripes and Café Au Lait. Lane two Whispering Queen followed by Corn Cob and Whistler.

Travelling Sprackler kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Whispering Queen was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.

Café Au Lait made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Travelling Sprackler.
