One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ashippun P. C. was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Ask For Permission sprinted to the front.




Vermillion took the lead after 1000m. Ask For Permission didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Vermillion galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Rose Garden showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Ask For Permission accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Ask For Permission kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. A Secret was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



Vermillion suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Vermillion didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
