One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Drogheda. Zouzou La Belle ended up behind the leader. Dark Josephine got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Breach Of Contract who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Zouzou La Belle clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Flickering Necklace suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.
