One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Amazing Starlight could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Jörgen Sjunnesson wanted a little to much in the start and Speedier galoped for 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Speedier, Bravo Di Sempre, Uitdrukkelijk, Amazing Starlight, Clean Sheet, Strong Argument, Ultime Survivre, Fast Missile. A bird flew just in front of Ultime Survivre who started to galop and lost 20 m. Gentleman Behemoth galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Uitdrukkelijk looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Strong Argument couldn't come out from behind the leader, Speedier.




Uitdrukkelijk looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Uitdrukkelijk looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Strong Argument won. Uitdrukkelijk came in second. Ultime Survivre caught third place.
