One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mad Diamond could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Drogheda galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Peu Miracle, Spring Spring Spring, Mazy, Flickering Necklace, Mad Diamond, Front Attack, Mister Mister, Shining Sunray. Mister Mister started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Peu Miracle was still in the lead after 1500m.



Peu Miracle were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Mad Diamond won the race after a spectacular finish.
