The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Årjäng this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Weather Report tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Thats A Trap that came steaming ahead.




Élément Perturbateur quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Giusto Simile Padre was disturbed and galoped 20 m. A bird flew just in front of Grand Harbour who started to galop and lost 50 m. Relaxing Body was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Élément Perturbateur followed by Thats A Trap and Weather Report. Lane two Slow Work followed by Giusto Simile Padre and Insane Amazon.



Élément Perturbateur kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Slow Work never caught up with Élément Perturbateur who won. Thats A Trap came third.
