Only a humble breeze blew over Drammen this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lone Pirate could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Calming Rock started to galop and lost 10 m. When the startcar left the field Lone Pirate started to galop and lost 10 m. Base Attack showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




This is the positions after 500m. Rindis Strong Bear, Calming Rock, Lone Pirate, Whispering News, In The Air, Sergeant Body, Mørkets Fyrste, Steel Boulder. A bird flew just in front of Steel Boulder who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Rindis Strong Bear was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Whispering News galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Rune Wiig tried a little too much on the homestretch and Calming Rock started to galopp and lost 40 m.
