It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Work found a gap and took the lead. Fast Crusher followed before Utter Nutter. Access To Heaven galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Universe Spirit saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Punching Rock sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Fierce Courser suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Punching Rock was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Fast Crusher gallopped for 20 m.



Punching Rock were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Flying Magpie was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Haut Medoc sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
