One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Deadeye Dick found a gap and took the lead. Vihollinen followed before Gil Yotin.




Deadeye Dick was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Deadeye Dick was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Straight Right gallopped for 50 m.



Queen Of Meadows showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Deadeye Dick sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Deadeye Dick kept the speed the whole finish and won before Agent and Gil Yotin.
