The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ice Breaker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Ice Breaker was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Per-Arne Abelin wanted a little to much in the start and Happy Body galoped for 10 m.




Troubling Daffodil quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Windy Girl started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Touch Of Brightness sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Ice Breaker suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Touch Of Brightness followed by Troubling Daffodil and High Prime. Lane two Sergeant Runner followed by Cap Ferret and Mack Crown.




Sergeant Runner put some pressure on the leader and could take over. High Prime gallopped 50 m after 2000m.



With only a little left of the race High Prime galoped for 20 m. Sergeant Runner sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Jörgen Sjunnesson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Troubling Daffodil started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Touch Of Brightness won. Sergeant Runner came in second. Cap Ferret caught third place.
