One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Limerick Rake could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Rickie galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Count My Steps quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Space General sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Undertones was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




The Orient Express looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. The Orient Express galloped for 10 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Rickie gallopped for 30 m.



Angry Grey Rat speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
