One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Moving Piece was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Cauberg saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Roofies who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Moving Piece sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Holy Cookie galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Good Looking Moon galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Moving Piece followed by Lonzo Dance and Good Looking Moon. Lane two Cauberg followed by Roofies and Galway. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lone Pirate gallopped for 10 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Fast Racer gallopped for 40 m.

Moving Piece kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

driver couldn't keep Good Looking Moon to trotting so they were disqualified. Moving Piece were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Lone Pirate galoped way to long and was disqualified. Carroll showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Cauberg won. Roofies came in second. Moving Piece caught third place.
