Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mantorp track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sense Of Connection. Fair Lilac ended up behind the leader. Beautiful Pie got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Counterfeit Queen was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Counterfeit Queen suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Beautiful Pie today. It continued in the lead.

With only a little left of the race Beautiful Pie galoped for 40 m. Front Beard galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Fair Lilac looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Tomas Johansson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Monsieur Hector started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Beautiful Pie didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
