Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sudden Tropic. Light Buzz ended up behind the leader. Opposing Gold got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Opposing Gold quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Light Buzz took the lead after 1000m. Simply Rubin didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Light Buzz followed by Opposing Gold and Run Ray. Lane two Simply Rubin followed by Sudden Tropic and Down Under Wonder.



Light Buzz looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Simply Rubin sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
