Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

I Aint Going could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field I Aint Going started to galop and lost 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Grasping Sunflower, New Report, Beauty Dragon, Carmin, Yellow Thunder, Or Noir, Steel Mind, I Aint Going. I Aint Going started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Dark Defender started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Beauty Dragon took the lead after 1000m. Yellow Thunder didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Beauty Dragon today. It continued in the lead.

Beauty Dragon kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Or Noir won the race after a spectacular finish.
