One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Great Barrier Magician tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Soft Sign that came steaming ahead.




Great Barrier Magician saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Chimay Red sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Chimay Red today. It continued in the lead.




Chimay Red sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Chimay Red was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Thingsyougottodo suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Chimay Red galoped way to long and was disqualified. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Stepping Starlight galop. Stepping Starlight lost 50 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Green galop. Green lost 20 m.




Thingsyougottodo didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
