One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Rindis She. Power Angel ended up behind the leader. Shooting Angel got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Red Horizon sprinted to the front. A bird flew just in front of Rindis She who started to galop and lost 50 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Power Angel took the lead rather easily. Mayfair showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Power Angel followed by Space Lightning and Sergeant Body. Lane two Baltikum Rīga followed by Shooting Angel and Feeling Lucky. Homewrecker started to gallop after 1500m and Ari Moilanen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Baltikum Rīga speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Harri Koivunen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Baltikum Rīga started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Power Angel sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
