One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Coughing Witch was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Vermillion saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Sans Benefice took the lead after 1000m. Coughing Witch didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. driver couldn't keep Fille Douce to trotting so they were disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sans Benefice followed by Holy Sunshine and Ticking Moment. Lane two Coughing Witch followed by Vermillion and Cookie Dough.



Sans Benefice looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sans Benefice galop. Sans Benefice lost 20 m.




Holy Sunshine sprinted over the finishline before Coughing Witch and Vermillion.
