The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Caffe was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Colander galoped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Senior Advicer, Base Election, Power Hero, Caffe, Rindis Hurricane, La La La, Xmas Ytre, Colander.




Senior Advicer was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Senior Advicer followed by Rindis Hurricane and Colander. Lane two La La La followed by Power Hero and Base Election. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Xmas Ytre gallopped for 50 m.



With only a little left of the race Senior Advicer galoped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race Xmas Ytre galoped for 20 m. Power Hero speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Colander, 2 Rindis Hurricane, 3 Power Hero.
