Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Årjäng track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





General Beard was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Amazing Madness, Most Honest Way, Grain, Life Is Beautiful, General Beard, Great Barrier Magician, Saarland Larockma, Relaxing Sword. A bird flew just in front of Most Honest Way who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Amazing Madness was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. General Beard showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Most Honest Way saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Life Is Beautiful suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Most Honest Way won the race after a spectacular finish.
